Free, temporary and bought credit, and the order they are spent in.

Kinds of credit

• Signup: $5, permanent, once per workspace.
• Temporary: from a campaign. The launch campaign adds $20, usable for 24 hours, to every workspace created since the campaign opened on its first authenticated call in launch week (the 7 days after launch; a GET /credits/ counts, so the 24 hours start then), while the $1,000 launch budget lasts. It is listed in temporary with its expires_at; whatever is left then is gone.
• Bought: through Stripe Checkout, permanent.

Spend order

Each call spends temporary credit first (soonest to expire), then the signup credit, then bought credit (oldest first). So free credit never sits unused while you pay.

Buying credit

Buy any whole-dollar amount from $5 to $10,000 from your dashboard, or from the API: it returns a Stripe payment page to open or hand to a human.

The credit lands as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. Once your workspace has bought $50 in total, the full Parquet file and the 50M+ US dataset unlock (so do 3 invites, see Files). Free credit never unlocks them.
